Pediatric SLP in Houston, TX

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate effectively with caregivers, families, physical therapists, speech-language pathology assistants (SLPAs), and occupational therapy professionals.
- Monitor and report on student progress to ensure treatment goals are met.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation in compliance with professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is highly valued.
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
- Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related processes.
