Position Overview:
A school in Houlton, Maine (ZIP 04730) is seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join a multidisciplinary team of educators and specialists. This position serves a diverse group of students across K–12, focusing on assessment, intervention, and support for communication-related needs that impact academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Provide direct therapy and consultative services for students with a range of communication needs

Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student learning and participation

Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
-
Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and school-based problem-solving processes
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Current or eligible Maine license to practice as an SLP
-
Maine Department of Education certification (Speech & Language Clinician 293 endorsement)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply—supervision available

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Experience in school settings is a plus but not required
