Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist in Hondo, TX
Hondo, TX
A full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available in an elementary school setting in Hondo, TX. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY) and offers flexibility in scheduling, supporting both 35-40 hours full-time and flexible part-time options ranging from 10 to 30 hours per week. This is an onsite opportunity focused on delivering high-quality speech therapy services to elementary students.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid Texas SLP or SLPA license
- Experience in school-based speech pathology, especially within elementary education
- Familiarity with pediatric speech therapy, teletherapy, CFY, and healthcare-related SLP services is advantageous
- Strong caseload management skills and commitment to student-centered care
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary students
- Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver services onsite with potential integration of teletherapy techniques as required
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and school regulations
