A pediatric outpatient clinic near Florida City, FL is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a one-year contract with potential for extension or permanent placement. This travel position offers the opportunity to provide individualized therapy to children aged 2 to 18 in a supportive clinical environment focused on developmental and communicative progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual pediatric patients.
- Provide direct therapy services addressing pragmatics, receptive and expressive language, reading and writing delays, articulation, and high-functioning autism.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage caseload independently, focusing on children with mild to moderate speech and language needs, excluding those who are medically fragile.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants are welcome.
- Current Florida SLP license.
- Pediatric experience is highly preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a strong plus.
