A one-year contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in a K-12 setting near Florida City, FL. This role focuses on providing individualized pediatric speech-language services to children ages 2 to 18 in an outpatient clinic located in South Florida. The position involves working with primarily mild to moderate cases, without medically fragile patients, focusing on challenges such as pragmatics, receptive and expressive language, reading, writing delays, articulation, and high-functioning autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and direct therapy sessions for pediatric clients individually
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to advocate for and plan services
  • Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to each child's needs

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Florida state license for SLP practice
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants are encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with pediatric populations highly desirable
  • Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus

This is a contract position with the potential for extension or conversion to permanent status.
