Position Type: Full-time contract assignment in a K-12 public school setting for the academic year.
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent).

Valid Mississippi licensure/license eligibility for SLP practice in schools.

Experience in school-based settings preferred (K–12).

Strong skills in assessment, IEP development and implementation, direct therapy delivery, documentation, and collaboration with educators and families.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Mississippi State-Specific Requirements:

Must hold a Mississippi Educator License Type 215 – Speech-Language Pathologist or an equivalent license issued by the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE).

SLPs in Mississippi public schools must meet the scope of practice defined by the MDE (communication, language, and potentially swallowing disorders when educationally relevant).

Professional growth and evaluation requirements: SLPs are observed at least three times annually using the Speech-Language Growth Rubric.
