Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility) in Tennessee
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or CFY candidates welcome, as applicable
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload of students across various grade levels
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Work collaboratively with general and special education teachers, families, and other support staff
- Monitor progress and maintain thorough documentation and reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise regarding speech and language concerns
- Offer strategies and resources to teachers and parents for supporting student communication development
