Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Speech and Language Pathologist Certification
- Bilingual fluency required (English and another language)
- Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credentials
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and participating in collaborative meetings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver bilingual speech and language services to students in educational settings
- Complete thorough evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Participate in meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to support student success
- Document progress and provide timely reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
