Job Overview
ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students in PreK through 8th grade in Hillside, IL for the 2025–2026 school year. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population in a supportive school environment focused on communication growth and academic development.
Experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are both encouraged to apply. Supervision and mentorship are available for CFs.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and screenings for PreK–8 students

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs

Provide direct speech-language therapy services in both individual and small group settings

Address a range of communication challenges, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders

Collaborate with general and special education staff, administrators, and families
-
Maintain detailed documentation, progress tracking, and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
Qualifications

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences

Active Illinois SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred

Clinical Fellows welcome – supervision and support provided

Prior experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus
