Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience in school-based SLP settings, preferably working with K-12 populations
- Proficiency with teletherapy/voco SLP platforms or willingness to train
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Commitment to fostering positive, inclusive learning environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with educational teams across multiple schools to ensure integrated support
- Deliver therapy, consultation, and intervention virtually during scheduled hours
- Monitor and report student progress, updating goals as needed
- Offer guidance and resources to families and school staff for carryover of skills
This contract role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, averaging 35 hours per week, with your assignment running from mid-August 2025 through early June 2026.
