Speech Language Pathologist in Hillsborough, NC
Make a difference in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with a contract opportunity starting this August and continuing through June. This is an onsite, full-time role with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week. Serve a local school community and collaborate with educational professionals to help children reach their communication goals.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid NC SLP license (active and in good standing)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong evaluation, diagnostic, and treatment skills for a variety of speech/language disorders
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, interventions, and supports for students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, IEPs, and progress monitoring
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to best support student outcomes
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services provided and student progress
- Participate in school meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development sessions as required
- Adapt therapy approaches to diverse student populations and needs
