A dynamic opportunity is available for experienced Speech Language Pathologists to support K-12 students in Oregon City, OR. This role offers a contract position through the next school year, with a focus on early learning speech and language development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments, diagnosis, and evidence-based interventions to students aged K-12.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Manage a caseload of 25-40 students, focusing on early learning speech needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and regulatory standards.
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required.
- Deliver services in person 3-4 days per week with some flexibility for hybrid work arrangements.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) appropriate to school settings.
- Prior experience working in a school environment, particularly with early learners, is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state special education regulations.
- Proven ability to manage a sizable caseload effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
