Speech Therapist in Hillsboro, OR
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support a K-12 school setting on a leave contract. This role requires delivering specialized speech and language services to students across the entire K-12 spectrum. The assignment will begin in mid-February and continue through mid-May, covering a maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state regulations.
- Participate in parent conferences and team meetings as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Oregon state license from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Prior experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within an educational team environment.
Location: This position is based onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon, serving schools within the Portland metropolitan area.
Schedule:
- Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.
- Contract duration: February 19, 2026, through May 14, 2026.
