A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is currently available in a K-12 educational setting located in Dublin, OH. This contract position covers the complete school year and offers a caseload of approximately 50 students. Work hours run from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, providing consistency and structure for both the professional and the students served.
This role involves providing specialized speech-language services to students across grades K-12, including transition services for youth aged 14 to 22 with developmental disabilities. The position offers a unique chance to contribute to a program dedicated to supporting the communication needs and developmental growth of this diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy and assessments for a caseload of approximately 50 students.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective communication interventions.
- Support students in both academic settings and transition programs designed for youth with developmental disabilities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing program development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required.
- Prior experience in school-based speech therapy with K-12 populations preferred.
- Strong understanding of developmental disabilities and transition services is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
