A virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support for students in grades 9 through 12 within a K-12 school setting. This part-time contract role is ideal for those with experience in school-based speech therapy and offers a caseload of approximately 15 to 18 students, including one homebound student. The assignment begins on January 7th and runs through the end of the school year, with sessions scheduled 2-3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver virtual speech-language therapy services to high school students, focusing on individualized treatment plans.
  • Manage a caseload of 15 to 18 students, including conducting sessions for one homebound student.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure student progress and goal achievement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP certification with credentials including CFY and CCC preferred.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations within school and healthcare settings.
  • Strong ability to engage and motivate high school students virtually.
  • Proficient with telepractice platforms and technology.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
