Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Near Herkimer, NY
Schedule: Part-Time (20–24 hours per week)
Compensation: $45–$60 per hour (adjusted for upstate New York)
Caseload: Kindergarten through 5th grade, with one 11th-grade student
Duration: October 2025 – June 2026, with renewal and potential ESY
Open to: Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team for the upcoming academic year. This part-time position involves working with a diverse caseload of elementary students (K–5) and one high school junior (11th grade). The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students' communication needs and collaborating with educators and families to foster academic success. Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply, as mentorship opportunities are available.?
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students.?

Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs.?

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.?

Maintain accurate records of student evaluations, progress, and services provided.?

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.?
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.?

New York State SLP license (or eligibility).?

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates welcome.?

Experience in a school setting is advantageous but not required.?

Strong communication and collaboration skills.?
