Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services in a dynamic K-12 public school setting located in Henrico, VA. This full-time contract position spans the current school year, beginning in January and concluding in late May 2026. The role involves serving diverse student caseloads across various age groups with support from Speech-Language Pathology Assistants and onsite facilitators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language evaluations, therapy, and interventions to students with communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational and therapeutic standards.
- Assist in training and supervising SLPA staff and facilitate communication among team members.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Virginia SLP license required.
- Experience working with school-age children (0-2 years preferred, but all experience levels considered).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and school personnel.
- Ability to manage varied caseloads and demonstrate flexibility in scheduling.
