Speech-Language Pathologist – School-Based Role
Location: Henderson, Colorado
Start Date: Immediate
Commitment: Full-Time, through the end of the school year
Student Population: K–8
Setting: Single school site
A Colorado district is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join its special education team. This assignment focuses on supporting K–8 students with a manageable caseload and a collaborative work environment. Clinicians who value structure, teamwork, and clarity in their day-to-day responsibilities will find this role especially rewarding.
Responsibilities Include:
• Coordinating testing schedules, IEP timelines, and daily therapy blocks with the Special Education Teacher
• Maintaining accurate caseload documentation and contributing to the master Special Education roster
• Providing individualized speech services through a mix of inclusion, resource room, and pullout models
• Partnering with families and staff to monitor progress and meet communication goals
Eligibility Requirements:
• Colorado SLP license (active or in progress)
• Colorado Department of Education teaching license
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• School-based experience preferred but not required
• Open to Clinical Fellows and recent graduates
