Key Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina SLP license or eligibility for SC certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong skills in evaluating and treating communication disorders
- Comfortable conducting assessments, developing and implementing IEPs, and managing caseload documentation
- Ability to collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams and engage with parents and educators
- Excellent organizational, communication, and data collection abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services for elementary, middle, and high school students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret results for tailored intervention
- Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress
- Travel between multiple school sites during the workweek
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state and school guidelines
