Key Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license in Texas (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates considered
- Experience or comfort working in school-based settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop engaging therapy sessions for diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Design, implement, and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver therapy individually and in groups, adjusting techniques to student needs
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and school teams to best support each child
- Maintain thorough, timely therapy notes and compliance documentation
- Attend and participate in IEP and evaluation meetings as required
