Empower young minds and make a lasting impact in a vibrant Alabama community! We're seeking a passionate School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and support students on their communication journeys.
Overview:
- Collaborate: Partner with educators, families, and administrators to design individualized therapy plans for students with speech and language needs.
- Assess & Treat: Conduct comprehensive evaluations, deliver effective therapy in various settings (individual, small group, classroom), and track student progress.
- Stay Informed: Continuously learn and grow through professional development opportunities and stay current with evidence-based practices.
- Make a Difference: Contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment where every child thrives.
Qualifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Alabama state licensure as an SLP.
- 1+ years of experience in a school setting preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and passion for helping children succeed.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
Details:
- Full time: 40 hours weekly
- 1 Elementary school site
- Caseload: 40 students, K-5th grade level
- Renewal contract into summer!
