This role involves providing speech-language services within a school setting and early intervention programs. Assignments include:
- 3 to 4 positions serving school-age children (K-12) in Hazleton, working with varied speech and language needs.
- 1 position providing early intervention services near Wilkes-Barre, focusing on children ages 3 to 5 with autism or a 25% developmental delay.
- Caseloads range from 60-65 students.
- Full-time schedules (35 hours per week).
- Work primarily onsite at one location.
- Assignment starts ASAP and continues through the end of the school year (EOSY).
- Potential for contract renewal for the following school year.
- Consideration for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as well.
Ideal candidates are skilled in supporting a diverse school-age population as well as young children requiring early intervention services. Experience with autism spectrum disorders and developmental delays is highly desirable.
