Speech Language Pathologist in Hayward, CA
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed in California, providing on-site services at two school locations—one elementary and one middle school—in Hayward, CA. The role supports up to 55 students with a current caseload of 48, working Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week. This position is scheduled to start as soon as possible and extend through the next school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary and middle school students
- Manage and maintain a caseload of up to 55 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student progress
- Participate in professional development and mentorship programs
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of California
- SLP credentials including CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) experience preferred
- Ability to work onsite at designated school locations
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage caseload and collaborate effectively
