A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting. This onsite role involves working primarily with a high school caseload, providing essential speech and language services to approximately 70 students. The contract position begins in January and is designed for the entire school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students grades K-12, focusing on the high school population
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all school policies and procedures
- Participate in team meetings and provide consultation as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K-12 environment
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, evaluation, and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 70 students effectively
