Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - Hayneville, AL
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school near Greenville, Alabama, seeking two qualified professionals to support students' communication development. This contract position includes a full school year commitment with a supportive environment designed to promote professional growth and student success.
Candidates should hold an active Alabama SLP license and possess appropriate school credentials. Preference will be given to those with CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) and prior school-based or pediatric experience. Both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered, and teletherapy experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' specific needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress.
- Provide teletherapy services as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Alabama SLP license and school credentials required.
- CCCs preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly desired.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
