A school-based speech therapy position is available at an elementary school in Tallahassee, FL, for the current school year on a contract basis. The team is seeking one Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support students in grades pre-kindergarten through 4th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to approximately 50 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
- Document progress and maintain accurate student records
- Comply with school and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Department of Education (DOE) certification
- Active Florida licensure for SLPs or SLPAs
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to manage caseload effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Candidates using VOCOM (voice-output communication devices) will not be considered
Work Schedule and Location:
- Elementary school setting in Tallahassee, FL
- Full-time contract: approximately 7.5 hours per day, 35-40 hours per week
- Contract dates: December 1st through the end of the school year
