Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Harvest, AL
This opportunity calls for two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support a PreK-8th grade school in Harvest, Alabama. The contract position begins ASAP or with the start of the January semester and runs through May 22, 2026. Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload currently at 58 students, divided between two SLPs to manage efficiently and collaboratively.
- Deliver therapy sessions Monday through Thursday, reserving Fridays primarily for assessments and documentation.
- Collaborate on caseload management and treatment planning, working independently without direct lead oversight.
- Utilize para support for student transitions to therapy sessions.
- Manage case documentation and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using PowerSchool or similar platforms.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) with active licensure in Alabama.
- Experience working in school settings and virtual therapy environments.
- Prior knowledge of Alabama state laws related to special education is preferred.
- Familiarity with case management processes and IEP development is a plus.
- Ability to work within an established schedule starting at 7:45 a.m. CST.
