Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services Monday through Thursday, with Fridays dedicated to assessments.
- Manage and split a caseload of approximately 58 students alongside another SLP, with flexibility in service delivery.
- Utilize para support for student transitions to therapy sessions.
- Maintain meticulous case management and participate in IEP development using systems like PowerSchool.
- Apply knowledge of school-based speech therapy practices, including virtual service delivery when needed.
- Engage with students across a range of grades and developmental levels within a supportive school environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Alabama.
- Certified with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred.
- Experience in school-based settings and virtual therapy delivery required.
- Familiarity with Alabama laws related to speech therapy and education is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, especially in managing caseloads and collaborating with school staff.
Location and Schedule:
- Position located in Harvest, AL.
- School hours begin at 7:45 AM CST.
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week with a Monday-Thursday service schedule and Friday assessment days.
