A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available from August 12 to November 2, supporting elementary and pre-kindergarten students in a school setting. Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification, including Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in elementary and pre-kindergarten settings
- Bilingual proficiency preferred for one of the two positions
- Strong knowledge of speech-language development and disorders in educational settings
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct speech therapy to students, adapting approaches as necessary
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with school personnel and families
