Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Crystal Lake, IL
This position is ideal for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist seeking a contract role in a K-12 school setting from January through March to cover an FMLA leave. The role requires onsite presence at both K-3 and Junior High schools, providing specialized support for students in speech and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students in early childhood and junior high settings.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators and families to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Illinois Speech Language Pathologist License required.
- Possession of the Professional Educator License (PEL) and ASHA Certification preferred.
- Clinical Fellows Year (CFY) candidates with relevant experience considered.
- Experience working in pediatric and school environments highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
