Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Bloomfield, CT
This contract position offers an opportunity to provide specialized speech-language pathology services within a school setting, serving elementary and high school students. Located in Bloomfield, CT, this role is ideal for candidates with a passion for pediatric speech therapy and experience working with diverse student populations.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. This position requires working two days per week, totaling 16 hours, allowing for a balanced professional schedule.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid CT Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Experience in pediatric, school-based speech-language pathology preferred
- Proficiency in clinical fellowship year (CFY) support or completion
- Familiarity with speech-language assessment and intervention strategies across elementary and high school age groups
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is highly desirable
Location: Bloomfield, Connecticut
Schedule: 16 hours per week, 2 days a week
