A full-time, school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support an elementary school caseload in Hartford, CT. This contract position will run from February through the end of the school year and offers a rewarding opportunity to work within a supportive educational team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with credentials appropriate for school settings (e.g., CCC, CFY)
- Experience delivering services in school environments, preferably with elementary-aged children
- Ability to provide teletherapy services, if needed
