A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students in an elementary school setting in Hartford, CT. This contract position involves two distinct leave coverage assignments with a focus on providing speech and language therapy services to young learners.

Assignment 1:
- Duration: January 9 to April 2
- Grades: PreK through 2nd grade
- Note: There is a possible candidate being considered, but the role remains open
Assignment 2:
- Duration: February 9 to March 23
- Grades: Split between grades 3-5 and the middle school
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school requirements
- Provide direct therapy services to students onsite during the school day
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in PreK-5 settings
- Ability to work effectively in a school environment and communicate well with students and staff
- Eligibility to provide onsite services as required
