About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team serving middle and high school students for the upcoming academic year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support students with speech, language, and communication needs while collaborating with educators and families to foster academic success.
Whether you are a seasoned SLP-CCC or a Clinical Fellow (CF) looking for mentorship, this role provides a supportive environment with access to resources and a collaborative team to ensure student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in middle and high school students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct speech and language intervention services in an academic setting.
- Work alongside teachers, special educators, and families to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- New York SLP license (or eligibility).
- TSSLD certification is required for school-based roles.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFs encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in a school setting is beneficial.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
