A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in Mechanicsburg, PA, serving Adams and York Counties. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 2026 and offers approximately 35 hours per week with travel time included in the schedule. The work involves traveling between multiple school locations, including Gettysburg, Littlestown, York, Hanover, and Red Lion.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grades
- Provide support for Early Intervention programs, with a preference for candidates experienced in early intervention preschool services
- Collaborate with educational teams to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting according to state and district guidelines
- Travel between assigned schools within Adams and York Counties (home base provided)
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology Certification (SLP-CCC and school certification preferred)
- Experience working in school-based settings, especially with Early Intervention students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage schedules and travel efficiently throughout multiple locations
- SLP Assistants (SLPAs) and use of VOCO devices are not supported in this role
Location:
- Home base in Mechanicsburg, PA, with required travel to various schools within Adams and York Counties
