A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Hammond, IN. This role offers a full-time schedule working 37.5 hours a week, supporting elementary and middle school populations. This position involves managing a caseload of 45-55 students. Two SLP roles are open:
- The first SLP will serve one elementary building and one middle school building.
- The second SLP will serve two middle school buildings.
Candidates must hold a current SLP certification and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology, with school-based experience preferred.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP credential and CCC in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience in school settings supporting elementary and middle school students.
- Ability to manage caseloads of 45-55 students effectively.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work across one to two school buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students in elementary and middle schools.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies.
- Participate in team meetings and provide professional input.
