Speech Language Pathologist in Gary, IN
A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Gary, IN, with the possibility of assignment anywhere in Porter County. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in school-based speech therapy, including teletherapy and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, as well as Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) experienced in both educational and healthcare environments.
Qualifications:
- Indiana licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) required
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12)
- Familiarity with caseload management of 80-100 students preferred
- Skills in teletherapy and CFY supervision considered a plus
- SLPA certification for those applying in an assistant capacity
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 90-100 students
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress in alignment with educational standards
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and organizational policies
- Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed to ensure continuity of care
Position Details:
- Contract duration: February 16, 2026, to May 28, 2026
- Work schedule: 30-35 hours per week, 5 days a week
- Location: Gary, IN area, with potential assignments throughout Porter County
