Remote Ohio School SLP Virtual Language Specialist (1099 Contractor)
We are seeking a passionate and autonomous Virtual Language Specialist to provide remote speech-language pathology services to school-aged students in Ohio. This role is ideal for an experienced SLP who thrives in a collaborative, flexible, and digital-first environment. You will work independently while staying aligned with school teams to deliver exceptional services and maintain compliance. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, solution-oriented, and comfortable managing a diverse caseload. This is a 1099 contract position with schedule flexibility and the ability to work from anywhere.
Duties:

Conduct virtual speech-language evaluations and screenings

Develop individualized education plans (IEPs)

Deliver therapy services via telepractice platforms

Collaborate with IEP teams and general education staff

Maintain accurate digital records and session notes

Provide progress reports in accordance with Ohio Department of Education (ODE) guidelines

Participate in virtual IEP meetings
-
Support students with expressive and receptive language disorders

Offer articulation and fluency interventions
-
Stay current with Ohio state regulations and compliance updates

Train school staff on communication strategies
-
Customize therapy materials for online delivery

Provide culturally responsive services

Manage scheduling and documentation independently

Communicate effectively with caregivers and educational personnel

VOCOVISION Requirements
· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
