Remote Speech Language Pathologist Halifax, NC
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a fully remote, full-time opportunity supporting school districts in the Halifax, North Carolina area. This virtual, school-based position is for the 2025–2026 academic year, with renewal opportunities based on performance and district needs.
Position Overview:

Setting: Virtual, K–12 student population
Key Responsibilities:

Perform virtual assessments and evaluations for speech, language, and communication needs
-
Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) through teletherapy platforms
-
Provide direct speech-language therapy in individual and group settings remotely
-
Monitor and document student progress in compliance with district and state requirements
-
Collaborate virtually with school teams, educators, and families to support student outcomes
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning in a digital format
Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following North Carolina state requirements:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
-
Active North Carolina SLP License issued by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for SLPA
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred)
-
North Carolina DPI certification or ability to obtain Educational Personnel credentials as needed

Prior teletherapy experience preferred

Must have access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a secure, private workspace

Must pass all required background and fingerprinting checks
