Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Haines, Alaska
This opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services within a K-12 school setting in Haines, Alaska. The position offers a unique chance to work with a diverse caseload of 19-24 students, delivering high-quality speech and language therapy to support their communication development throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students across all grade levels (K-12)
- Manage a caseload of 19-24 students, tailoring therapy to individual needs
- Deliver services either onsite or via teletherapy, depending on candidate preference and school requirements
- Participate in Extended School Year (ESY) services as needed, including an additional 2-4 hours per week for four weeks
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure integrated student support plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not required
- Competency in teletherapy delivery and familiarity with virtual platforms a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate in an educational environment
- Flexibility to work 20 hours per week, including ESY periods

- Haines, Alaska (virtual or onsite options available)
Compensation and Schedule:
- Contract position, 20 hours per week during the school year
- Immediate start with services continuing through ESY
- Competitive hourly compensation commensurate with experience and service delivery method, typically ranging from $45–$65 per hour
