A Special Education Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to conduct an initial bilingual (Turkish) evaluation for a third-grade student. This contract role supports the Child Study Team within a school setting located in Oxford, New Jersey, in Warren County. The assignment requires expertise in school-based speech-language pathology and proficiency in both English and Turkish to effectively assess and report on the student’s communication needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings
- Fluency in Turkish for bilingual evaluation purposes
- Strong knowledge of school-based Child Study Team processes and procedures
- Ability to conduct initial speech and language assessments and write detailed reports
- Licensed or certified to practice in New Jersey
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive initial speech and language evaluation for a 3rd-grade student in need of bilingual (Turkish) assessment
- Collaborate with the Child Study Team to provide accurate and timely assessment data
- Prepare and submit a detailed evaluation report by the required deadline (April 20, 2026)
- Maintain professional communication with school staff and other team members
- Ensure all evaluation documentation is compliant with district and state guidelines
Schedule & Location:
- Location: Oxford, NJ (Warren County Special Services district)
- Student hours: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- Staff hours: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Start date: As soon as possible
