School Speech Pathology | Elizabeth, New Jersey
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to support PreK through 4th-grade students in an elementary school setting. This is a leave of absence contract role starting ASAP through approximately April, with the exact end date to be confirmed. The position is onsite and located in Elizabeth, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring for students in PreK to 4th grade
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support individual education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning for student success
Qualifications:
- Must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active New Jersey SLP license and NJ Educator license required
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, especially PreK-4th grade
- Ability to work onsite full-time, Monday through Friday, approximately 35 hours per week
- Candidates must have recently maintained active licensure in NJ to ensure credential validation
