Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students, addressing a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Utilize teletherapy techniques effectively to reach students virtually
- Maintain detailed treatment records and communicate progress with relevant stakeholders
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards, including compliance with state and school policies
Qualifications:
- PEL with Illinois SLP Endorsement required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
- Experience working in elementary school and early childhood settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with pediatric speech-language pathology and readiness to provide both onsite and teletherapy services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and school staff
