Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Gulfport, MS

- Active or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Previous experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Familiarity with assessment tools, IEP processes, and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs using appropriate tools and resources
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique learning profile
- Provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Document progress, maintaining detailed and timely records per school and compliance standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development to ensure best practices
