A full-semester contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a K-12 educational setting in Grove City, OH. The role requires a dedicated SLP to provide assessment and intervention services to students across all grade levels, helping to enhance their communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective communication plans
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and maintain detailed progress documentation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support students in achieving communication goals aligned with school standards
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required
- Preference given to candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Recent SLP clinical fellows (SLP-CFs) demonstrating strong skills are encouraged to apply
- Experience working within a school environment is highly desirable
- Ability to commit to the full semester duration of the contract
