A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school serving children with communication disorders, including those who are non-verbal. This contract position runs through June 6th, 2026, with a flexible schedule to accommodate employee needs. Part-time candidates interested in working 2-3 days per week will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment for elementary students with speech and language impairments
- Develop and implement therapy plans targeting communication skills, including non-verbal communication methods
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and data to monitor student growth
- Deliver services via in-person sessions and teletherapy as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on pediatrics
- Experience working within school settings
- Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Ability to provide teletherapy services
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for communication disorders in children
- Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility in scheduling
