Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Laurens, SC
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 Middle-High School setting located in Laurens, SC. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY) and offers a hybrid work schedule. The role involves supporting approximately 40 students who require speech and language therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services to students from middle to high school grades.
- Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with each student's goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials.
- Experience working in school-based settings, particularly with K-12 students.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work a hybrid schedule of 3 days on-site and 2 days virtual.
