A K-12 school in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an on-site contract position through the current school year. This role focuses on supporting Pre-K and Kindergarten students within the school setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive speech-language pathology services to 40-45 students
  • Collaborating with educators and staff to implement individualized student plans
  • Documenting progress using ECATS and Infinite Campus systems
  • Maintaining compliance with state and district requirements for school-based speech therapy

Qualifications and experience:

  • Active North Carolina SLP license (confirmation required)
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • NC DPI G License is mandatory
  • Experience with the ECATS system is required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Prior experience in school-based speech-language pathology (K-12) highly desirable
  • Must provide services on-site; no remote options available
  • Candidates should be prepared to manage caseload independently, as no Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are currently assigned to support

Position details:

  • Location: On-site in Winston-Salem, NC (specific site to be determined)
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 25-30 hours per week
  • Duration: Immediate start through January 31, 2026
