Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Greenfield, IN
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a travel assignment in Greenfield, Indiana, supporting early elementary students from kindergarten through 4th grade. This position offers a focused commitment of 16-20 hours per week from March 30th to May 29th, providing an excellent opportunity to impact a large caseload efficiently within a defined timeframe.
Key responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 72 students, with direct support from two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)—one assisting four days a week and another one day a week. The SLP will serve as the Therapist of Service (TOS) during 13 scheduled case conferences, oversee progress reporting, and handle Medicaid billing requirements. At this time, no evaluations are required, allowing the SLP to concentrate on intervention and case management.
Desired Qualifications:
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly grades K-4
- Strong organizational skills to manage case conferences and documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPAs and school staff
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing and educational reporting standards
