Elementary School Speech Therapist | Greenfield, Indiana
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available at an elementary school setting in Greenfield, IN, for the current school year with the potential for contract to hire. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across two buildings, serving students from kindergarten through 6th grade, providing comprehensive speech-language services.
Responsibilities include direct therapy services for two groups of students: 23 students in K-4th grade seen on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and 28 students in 5th and 6th grade seen on Tuesday and Thursday. The schedule also accommodates essential duties such as Individualized Education Program (IEP) writing, report preparation, conducting evaluations, participating in meetings, and Medicaid billing processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in school settings.
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively across multiple locations.
- Strong organizational skills for documentation and compliance with school and Medicaid requirements.
- Collaborative approach to working with educators, administrators, and families.
This role requires 37.5 hours per week and involves traveling between two buildings approximately 3.5 miles apart, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.
